Cochani 1oz $15.00

This plant spirit supports you to witness and discern when negative energy is directed at your vulnerable aspects, such as your inner child or the one who carries the collective feminine shame. She supports you to deflect it in any direction. Whether it is coming from the outside, you are unconsciously directing it at someone else, or if you are turning it inward, doesn’t matter. Know when this is happening, ground what energy has penetrated into the Earth and deflect it to protect your inner child. Cochani does not fix you, she teaches you how to become aware and do this for yourself.

No More Shame Blend 1oz $15.00

(Female Papaya Blossom, Heavenly Bamboo, Salvia Farnaencia, Angel Wing Begonia) When one feels shut down due to shame and guilt this essence helps to address those issues. It brings them to the surface so they can be healed. As the healing takes place the life force energy is allowed to move more freely.

Kuhio Vine 1oz $15.00

As that fearful part of us freaks out and feels in terror of moving one step further, (that shadow part that feels it cannot do it.) this essence gives us the compassion and gentleness to console it, embrace it and nurture it along. Not by tugging on it or by shaming it. It is our responsibility to heal with gentleness the part that is in all of us that does not feel worthy, does not feel the faith, does not feel like it can ever come out of the shadows. As one takes this essence our shadow will become more known to us, for the sole purpose of knowing it, making friends with it and healing it. Compassion is what will heal it.

Lipstick Tree 1oz $15.00

Take the mask off that one has been hiding behind and come out with a clean face. No more hiding behind the mask of the false feminine. Strip it away and be seen in one’s pure essence. Assists in wiping the slate clean of attachments to what one thinks of oneself as a woman. Helps one to look at mask that one has been wearing and see how it crumbles in the face of reality. Come to grips with how much one has been hiding behind this mask and how it does not serve any longer. Helps one to destroy the mask so it is no longer useable, taking responsibility for having put the mask on to begin with.

New Guinea Creeper 1oz $15.00

This essence is good for igniting exploration of sacred sexuality. We see this useful in issues that have interfered in the past with full development of healthy, mature sexuality. Most specifically a remedy for women; not necessarily associated with healing sexual abuse, but more about reclaiming joy in a healthy natural experience. Good used during sexual play, especially sacred spot work.

Summer Lilac 1oz $15.00

Assists a woman in sitting still, maybe under a tree outdoors and appreciate her connection with Mother Earth. Look at the beauty that surrounds her and include herself in that picture.

Podacarpus Tree 1oz $15.00

This essence is for inspiring one to create or nurture the existence of a supportive, loving, cooperative community. A community based on love, joy, and support. Very important for the trying times ahead.

Essence of Iao Valley 1oz $15.00

This essence imbues one with the energy of the feminine in all her power and hugeness. The knowing, amazing power of the feminine, grounded, centered, and beautiful. She flows with the TAO. The true magnificence of the feminine unaltered by any forces outside herself, for there is no force great enough to destroy her magnificence.

Good for tension, mental or physical

It is for the person who tries to hide his or her tension behind a false facade of suave sophistication or cheerfulness. He denies the pain with a smile.

As an astringent, agrimony has been used for all sorts of digestive problems, but it is suited to those where tension and relaxation combine to cause incorrect timing of functions.

As an astringent, agrimony has been used for all sorts of digestive problems, but it is suited to those where tension and relaxation combine to cause incorrect timing of functions.

(Herbalist Mathew Wood) “I have to say that if there is one plant I know for over a decade of clinical experience to have had an effect which is magical—that is, it will change the environment around the person using it—Agrimony is the one.” This remedy also prevents meddling and interference.

California Poppy

Acts as a nervine, sedative. It is an excellent herb for the nervous system and can be thought of as a gentle balancer to the emotions and a calming remedy for times of stress; research has borne out its sedative and anxiolytic properties. It is suitable for calming both children and adults, helping to reduce anxiety and tension in the day and induce sleep at night without side effects of drowsiness or stupor. It can be used to ease depression, restlessness and agitation, and is especially good for people who find it hard to let go and relax and push themselves too hard, often to the point of exhaustion. From an Ayurvedic perspective, California poppy cools heat in the mind by reducing excess sadhaka pitta, and so makes an excellent remedy for irritability, low self-esteem, depression, headaches, insomnia, being overly critical, over-achieving and analytical, and for OCD. As it reduces pitta in the rasa and rakta dhatus, it can be used to relieve palpitations, hypertension and pain from inflammation as in arthritis, shingles, cholecystitis and toothache.  With its anulomana action it helps reduce spasm and pain in lower abdomen and so can be used to ease colic and menstrual pain.

California Poppy Seeds

California poppy seed is a natural alternative to pain medication that is non-addictive while producing the same life-changing results. On the March 22 episode of “Dr. Oz,” Dr. Mehmet Oz was joined by guest Bryce Wylde, an expert in alternative medicine. Wylde recommended individuals currently taking prescription pain medication try California poppy seed for relief, stating this natural pain reliever can be just as effective as Percocet and Vicodin. California poppy seed works by telling your brain to increase your opiate receptors, which automatically decreases the pain you feel.

Cleavers also has alterative properties, which means it helps to cleanse and nourish the blood. A perfect combination! Jaio Gu Lan

Regulate cholesterol Maintain healthy blood pressure levels Improve digestion Enhance heart muscle (especially contractility) Protect and modulate the immune system Protect against free radical damage Regulate hormone levels in men and women Jiaogulan may even help inhibit cancer growth. At its essence, this Chinese herb is an incredible balancing compound. If something (like your cholesterol, for instance) is higher than it should be, it lowers it. And if something is too low, it raises it. Powerful Adaptogen Does Only and Exactly What Your Body Needs The reason jiaogulan can work in such a range of ways in your body is because it’s a powerful adaptogen. All adaptogens — including garlic, ginkgo biloba, and ginseng — are substances that can, once ingested, be adapted by your body in whatever way necessary to restore balance. Only 1 out of every 4,000 plants meets the criteria to be classified as adaptogens, also called biological response modifiers. The criteria for adaptogens — as devised by Russian doctors N.V. Lazarev and I.I. Brekman in the mid-20th century — are: The Chinese herb should cause no harm and place no additional stress on the body The Chinese herb should help the body adapt to many and varied environmental and psychological stresses The Chinese herb must have a nonspecific action on the body, supporting all major systems Jiaogulan may actually be the most powerful adaptogen out there. For example, in studies conducted by Dr. Tsunematsu Takemoto and others over the course of a decade, jiaogulan was found to have 82 saponins (the chemical source of adaptogenesis) compared to 28 found in standard ginseng. Unlike conventional drugs, adaptogens have no side effects, do nothing to disturb the body, and work only when the body requires. Jiaogulan’s adaptogenic properties are especially evident in the way it benefits your brain. Jiaogulan has a biphasic effect on brain functioning, meaning that it can energize or calm the system depending on what’s needed.

While rue has been used for centuries for both culinary and medicinal purposes, as well as in general use as a strewn herb to discourage pests, many modern herbalists suggest that it should not be taken internally. Despite this concern, small amounts of rue are often used in salads, egg dishes and cheeses in Mediterranean countries. It is one of the most well-known of the magical protective herbs and is often used in spells of warding and protection in modern magic.

Sage is used in medicine to help alleviate symptoms of digestive problems and mental disorders, such as Alzheimer’s and depression.

Nutritious – sage is rich in antioxidants (apigenin, diosmetin, and luteolin) and important nutrients, such as vitamin K. In fact, sage has been considered somewhat of a panacea (solution or remedy for all difficulties or diseases) throughout history because of its wide range of uses in cooking and medicine.

Sea Salt

Strong Immune System – Sea salt naturally helps you to build up a strong immune system so that you can fight off the cold virus, the fever and flu, allergies and other autoimmune disorders. Alkalizing – Sea salt is alkalizing to the body, as it has not been exposed to high heat and stripped of its minerals, nor does it have any harmful man-made ingredients added to it. Thus it can help you to prevent and reverse high levels of acids in the body, which in turn eliminates the risks for serious and life-threatening diseases. Weight Loss – Believe it or not, but sea salt can also help you in weight loss. It helps the body to create digestive juices so that the foods you eat are digested faster, and it helps to prevent buildup in the digestive tract, which eventually can lead to constipation and weight gain. Skin Conditions – A sea salt bath can help to relieve dry and itchy skin as well as serious conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. The bath naturally opens up the pores, improves circulation in the skin and hydrates the tissues so that your skin can heal. Asthma – Sea salt is effective in reducing inflammation in the respiratory system. Thus the production of phlegm is slowed down so that you can breathe easier again. Some say that sprinkling sea salt on the tongue after drinking a glass of water is just as effective as using an inhaler. But the great thing about sea salt is that it has no side effects when taken in moderation. Heart Health – When salt is taken with water it can help to reduce high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure and help to regulate an irregular heart beat. Thus sea salt can help to prevent atherosclerosis, heart attacks and strokes. Diabetes – Sea salt can help to reduce the need for insulin by helping to maintain proper sugar levels in the body. Thus the salt is an essential part of the diet if you are diabetic, or at risk for the disease. Osteoporosis – Just over 1/4 of the amount of salt that is in the body is stored in the bones, where it helps to keep them strong. When the body lacks salt and water it begins to draw the sodium from the bones, which then eventually can lead to osteoporosis. Thus by drinking plenty of water and consuming salt in moderation you can prevent osteoporosis. Muscle Spasms – Potassium is essential for helping the muscles to function properly. Sea salt not only contains small amounts of potassium, but it also helps the body to absorb it better from other foods. Thus it is effective in helping to prevent muscle pains, spasms and cramps. Depression – Sea salt also has shown to be effective in treating various types of depression. The salt helps to preserve two essential hormones in the body that help you to better deal with stress. These hormones are serotonin and melatonin, which help you to feel good, and relax and sleep better at night.

Sheep sorrel

Sheep sorrel provides a number of vitamins and minerals. These include about 60 milligrams of vitamin C in 1 cup of chopped leaves and over 5,000 international units of vitamin A, plus small amounts of several B vitamins in the same-size serving. The herb also contains calcium, with about 60 milligrams per cup, and more than 500 milligrams of potassium, along with some magnesium, phosphorus and a small amount of zinc. In addition, sheep sorrel contains a number of natural phytochemicals, including several flavonoids such as quercetin, which have antioxidant properties. It also provides other compounds called anthraquinones, additional antioxidants that can benefit your digestive tract.

Traditional Use

Practitioners of herbal medicine recommend consuming fresh sorrel leaves as a mild diuretic to increase urine production by the kidneys. Considered anti-inflammatory, tea brewed from sheep sorrel leaves is an herbal remedy for fever and generalized inflammation. Because of its high vitamin C content, sorrel preparations are also recommended as a preventive for scurvy, a condition caused by a deficiency of the vitamin. Tea made from sorrel plant roots is used in herbal medicine as well, primarily to improve menstrual problems.

One of the most important therapeutically active components in usnea is usnic acid, which has potent antibiotic properties. It is effective against staph, strep, pneumococcus and tuberculosis bacteria. Usnic acid kills bacteria by entering the bacterial cell and disrupting its metabolism. Usnea also has activity against fungi, viruses and amoebas. In addition to its antimicrobial function, usnea has anti-inflammatory and analgesic functions, and it is an immune system enhancer. Medically, usnea can be used in the same way as Echinacea. It is especially beneficial for treating respiratory infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia, and as a supplement to other tuberculosis treatment. It is also useful for colds and flu, strep throat and urinary tract infections.

Yellow Dock Root

Traditionally blood purifier and general detoxifier, especially for the liver. The herb, properly known as Rumex crispus, supports detoxification from a few angles. First off, yellow dock root stimulates bile production, which helps digestion, particularly of fats. Yellow dock root can stimulate a bowel movement to help remove lingering waste from your intestinal tract; it also increases the frequency of urination to assist in toxin elimination. Maintaining an efficient rate of waste elimination can help prevent toxins from accumulating in the liver, gallbladder, and bloodstream and circumvent the associated problems.
